      Gifted with her first journal by her 2nd grade teacher, Lesa Silvermore has always been passionate about writing. Growing up in SouthWest Florida, Silvermore’s youth was spent on stage in local theatre programs later becoming a part of a Visual Performing Arts program as a Theatre student. She found her true calling in her teenage years when she was handed a guitar from her older brother and took stage as a singer-songwriter. 

Creating waves early on in the local music scene actively playing open mics, community shows and local festivals Silvermore started her journey as she evolved from a solo singer-songwriter to a full band. Her full band featured Doug Rogells on drums, Toby Norton on Lead Guitar and Josh Scheible on bass and backup vocals.

The band recorded Silvermore’s first debut studio album, ‘Doppelganger’ (2017), which featured 10 original songs that showcased her material in chronological order of her music at the time. The first song on the album, also the single, Runaway With Me, became the most requested song amongst audiences far and near and was a hit on social media streaming platforms. “The complexity of her sound is evident on singles like “Run Away with Me,” where the melodic folk singing is joined by aggressive guitar solos and an upbeat tempo.” said Rick Morgan of Sarasota Magazine.

After the release of her studio album, Silvermore went on a handful of tours, including a East Coast tour with fellow singer/songwriter Sam Robertson. The ‘Never Come Back’ summer tour featured 12 dates stretching from Florida to Nashville to NYC and back. In 2018, Silvermore released her acoustic EP Back to Basics, a cozy reminder of her singer-songwriter roots. 

In 2019, Silvermore spent a brief time living in Nashville, where she made great connections with music producers and played a handful of shows in iconic venues like The Springwater Club which featured The Black Keys. Silvermore returned home with a renewed passion for her music. That journey however was paused for quite some time due to COVID19 and the Global Pandemic. Unsure when the music industry would open up again, she shifted inward and helped within the community joining health and holistic programs as a teacher and a volunteer. 

In the winter of 2023, she reunited with her bass player Josh Scheible to co-create the bands latest single, ‘So Close, So Far’. Recorded with Ashlee Hamory on drums with St.Pete musician Dylan Carney the song embodies the pivot in Silvermore’s musical sound. The track deeply suggests a more Alt/Indie-Rock feel with heavy fuzz and electric guitar. Produced and mixed by Physical Plant’s Caegan Quimby, the song was released with high anticipation.

The song captures the eerie isolation of the world lockdown and disconnection from loved ones. Silvermore’s latest single shines the spotlight on her songwriting skills with her relatable and personal lyrics as she struggled with finding her voice in a time of heaviness felt around the world.

Joined by their new drummer, Dylan Plaster, the band threw a successful packed out single release party at Bradenton’s Oscura. Silvermore and her band knocked the return of their new music out of the park with a sold out local performance at the BOLD/iHeart radio showcase. Late January 2024, riding the wave of their single release Silvermore and her full band opened for Emmy Nominated artist Andrew McMahon at the St. Pete Rise Up Concert Series.
