lesa silvermore

Lesa Silvermore is a singer/songwriter based out of Sarasota, Florida. What started out as a 4-piece studio band for the making of the album “Doppelgänger” has transformed to an acoustic rock n roll/indie folk band pounding on the floors and dancing with audience members. She has been independently managing her music and playing gigs since she was 16. Lesa's style is a cross mixture of Indie-pop and Folkrock-blues.Compared often to artists like Alexz Johnson, Fleetwood Mac, Florence and the Machine and The Cranberries.

"Red Hair and Acoustic Guitars" was her first EP she released in 2011. After catching spots on local music gigs and festivals, Silvermore collaborated with a few musicians to produce her next EP "Rawr”(2013). In 2017, Silvermore finished her first debut album, “Doppelgänger”, featuring 10 original songs that were recorded with her full band. After spending time in Nashville she travels around the southern states playing venues from coffeeshops to large venues. Silvermore has the option to rock out and share the stage with her bandmates or bring an intimate cozy night of storytelling with a solo acoustic show.

“With the release of Doppelgänger, Lesa Silvermore is going places (literally).”
— Rick Morgan (Sarasota Magazine)
‘Natural Disaster’
Subdued verses fittingly give way to a rocking half-time chorus, Silvermore defiantly singing “Shake me, break me / Like a natural disaster / You can’t save me.”
— Nick Friedman (Your Observer)
“Sarasota songwriter Lesa Silvermore is the gray Jedi. She makes music and art that embraces life’s duality and her own dueling personas.”
— Riley Huff (Tampa Bay Creative Loafing)
